I find myself tucking into your words like a baby in her favorite handmade quilt. Like I want to invite you to sit quietly next to me in comfort and friendship. To wrap you up say that you are not alone in grief. That your stories are like the strong and delicate gossamer threads from a weaving spider, dancing gently in the dewey morning breeze, and some of us are lucky enough to catch the end of one and follow it to its source, where we find a kindred spirit, weaving, beneath the thorn of a rose.
My dear friend. Your words bolster and soothe me; and, yes, I do feel wrapped in your quilted love. Knowing that you are reading and catching the threads brings me comfort. Thank you for reading, thank you for tucking yourself in, thank you for inspiring me to keep going.
Oh Megs, your words always penetrate my heart so very deeply. Thank you for talking to accurately about grief and how it leaves are hearts aching so badly. I love you!
I remember that beautiful brooch on Pique’. I marveled at how She just knew how to do everything with such style and grace. I learned so much from your talented Mother …(I then copied her and found a brooch too)😊 🥰. She just had the right touch. ❤️

Every last word, I read every last word.
This was my favorite,
"someone has to make this place beautiful while you’re away" xo, Alex
Thank you dear friend. I know that you too feel inspired by your mama and are also out there making our world much more beautiful. Xx
I'm currently in the space of trying to find a way to pull both closer and away from the things that made me...thank you for your beautiful words.
I've often wondered...how can something so natural, so true to the arc of life, also be so excruciating. Thinking of you.

I love hearing this Ladelle, thank you. She did have just the "right touch."
